Annelise Pinot Grigio, Nugan Estate 75cl

When a young Alfredo Nugan accompanied by his wife Anneslise emigrated from Spain in 1940, he had a clear vision of his family's new life in Australia. Today, his legacy sees Nugan Estate continue to flourish as one of Australia's most successful and award winning wineries. The Annelise range is a tribute to Alfredo's wife Annelise who helped him build the foundations for the family's legacy. Annelise although busy with the responsibilities of the business and raising the family, she was also reconised for giving herself unselfishly to many years of voluntary work.

Carefully selected parcels of Pinot Grigio have been handcrafted into this elegant wine. After picking, the grapes were gently pressed and underwent slow, cool fermentation to preserve the delicate fruit flavours. Once dry, the wine was allowed to mature prior to final blending and bottling.

A well balanced, crisp refreshing palate with flavours of pear and grapefruit, supported by mineral notes, with a clean, lengthy finish. Filled with enticing aromas of fresh apple and some citrus and tropical notes - this wine is the perfect accessory for entertaining.

FOOD MATCH: This is a very delicate wine, which is perfect as an aperitif or with seafood dishes.
