BISCARDO OROPASSO ORIGINALE VINO BLANCO 75cl

Biscardo Oropasso is crazy. It's a white wine made from Chardonnay and Garganega grapes, but honestly, when we first tried it, we thought it was a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The citrus and grapefruit driven taste is achieved as Biscardo has used the "appassimento" method where the grapes are dried before pressing. It's similar to the technique used to make Amarone. The aroma of Biscardo Oropasso Originale Vino Blanco hints of yellow fruits such as peaches and apricots but also vanilla and spices. The taste is full on, but is has beautiful light creamy and refined several tones of yellow fruits, vanilla, spices and of course, that citrus! Oropasso is a wine that you will definitely stay in your memory and it is completely delicious. Try pairing it with a mozzarella and tomato salad. Yum!
